Passengers aboard an Air India flight bound for London were thrown into tension mid-air after the aircraft was suddenly diverted to Saudi Arabia following a suspected technical fault, in what aviation authorities described as a precautionary emergency decision.
According to reports, the flight—identified as AI133—was en route from Bengaluru, India, to London Heathrow when the crew detected a potential technical issue several hours into the journey. The aircraft, a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, had reportedly been airborne for more than six hours before the decision was made to divert.
