LONDON, November 4. /TASS/. New refugees from Ukraine will be able to reside in Ireland at government expense for 30 days instead of the current 90. This was reported by the television channel RTE, citing a decision made by a government subcommittee.
Its members concluded that, with approximately 50 people a day applying for housing financed by the republic's budget, the affordable housing stock would run out by the end of November.
According to the channel, since February 2022, more than 120,000 people who fled Ukraine have received temporary protection in Ireland. Approximately 83,000 of them remain.
