Emirates Airline has announced the suspension of all flights to and from Dubai until further notice, as the escalating conflict in the Middle East continues to disrupt air travel across the region.

The Dubai-based airline confirmed that operations were halted after security concerns intensified following attacks and airspace disruptions linked to the ongoing U.S.–Israel–Iran war. Authorities said the decision was taken as a precaution to ensure passenger safety while regional airspace conditions remain unstable.

Officials advised passengers not to travel to the airport until further updates are issued. Check-in operations were temporarily suspended and the airline began arranging refunds and rebooking options for affected travelers.

The suspension comes as several Middle Eastern countries face widespread aviation disruptions due to airspace closures, missile threats, and drone interceptions linked to the regional conflict. Airlines across the Gulf have either halted flights or drastically reduced operations while authorities assess security risks.

Dubai International Airport, one of the world’s busiest aviation hubs, has experienced repeated interruptions during the crisis. The airport previously suspended operations after missile and drone activity in the region raised safety concerns for aircraft and passengers.

Emirates, which operates flights to over 130 destinations worldwide, relies heavily on Dubai as its main global hub. The suspension therefore affects thousands of passengers and numerous international routes connecting Europe, Asia, Africa, and North America.

Aviation analysts warn that continued instability in the Middle East could further disrupt global travel networks, as many international flights rely on Gulf hubs such as Dubai for long-distance connections.

The airline said it is closely monitoring the security situation and will announce further updates on flight operations once conditions in the region improve.
