Singer 2Baba Spotted in Viral Video Escorted by UK Police — Confirms Footage, Questions Linger

London – A video circulated online late Sunday appears to show Nigerian music star 2Baba being escorted by police in handcuffs outside a retail outlet in London, in a clip shared by blogger Tosin Silverdam. The footage has sparked widespread reactions, though UK authorities have yet to confirm an arrest.

The video was published just hours after another clip allegedly captured a heated argument between 2Baba and his wife, Natasha Osawaru, inside a London shop — claims that circulated after 2Baba missed a scheduled concert date earlier in October.

In October, responding to the first wave of rumours, 2Baba dismissed reports of an arrest, attributing his tour absence to a “medical emergency” rather than a domestic dispute or run-in with police. He urged the public and media to verify facts, calling the speculation painful and baseless.

As of now, there has been no official statement from UK police confirming 2Baba’s arrest — leaving critical questions unanswered about the circumstances of the video, the legitimacy of the handcuff footage, and whether any charges have been filed. Dalena Reporters will continue to monitor developments, including any statement from law-enforcement or 2Baba’s team, and update readers accordingly.
