Isapa, Kwara State — In a brutal attack around 6 p.m. on November 24, 2025, suspected bandits stormed the Isapa community in Ekiti Local Government Area, abducting 11 residents, including a pregnant woman, nursing mothers, and children, Dalena Reporters and other outlets confirm.
Eyewitnesses said approximately 20–30 armed terrorists men entered the town, apparently herding cattle, while firing sporadically. They reportedly broke into several houses, leaving bullet holes in doors and walls.
The abductees include:
- Sarah Sunday (22), who is pregnant, according to community sources
- Two nursing mothers: Lami Fidelis (23) and Haja Na Allah
- More than children: Magaji (6), Kande (5), Hadiza (10), Mariam (6), Saima (5) and more
- Others: Talatu Kabiru (20), Habibat (housewife), Fatima Yusufu (housewife)
An elderly woman was struck by a stray bullet during the raid. Expended AK-47 cartridges were found scattered across the area after the attackers departed.
This assault comes just days after another kidnapping incident in nearby Eruku, where gunmen attacked a church and abducted dozens of worshippers.
Security officials are reportedly mobilizing to track down the perpetrators, but as of this report, no formal statement has been issued by the Kwara State Police Command.
