Four attempts by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to break out of the encirclement were thwarted in Kupyansk.

 

In Kupyansk, four attempts by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) to break out of the encirclement and reach the right bank of the Oskol River via destroyed crossings near Petrovka were thwarted. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported this on October 27.

"As a result of artillery and drone fire, up to 50 Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel and six units of military equipment, including two Humvees, were destroyed," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.
