Iran has firmly ruled out engaging in negotiations with the United States under pressure, as tensions in the Middle East continue to escalate amid an ongoing regional crisis.
According to a report by Arab News, Iran’s top negotiator and parliament speaker, Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, stated that Tehran would not accept talks conducted under threats. He accused US President Donald Trump of attempting to turn diplomatic engagement into what he described as a “table of surrender,” signaling deep mistrust between both countries.
Qalibaf’s remarks highlight the widening gap between Washington and Tehran at a time when diplomatic efforts appear increasingly fragile.
