The body of a hiker who went missing nearly a year ago in Shannon Falls Provincial Park has been discovered, bringing a tragic end to a long-running search effort in British Columbia.
According to a report by CBC News, the remains of 20-year-old Alexander Nguyen were found near Squamish, months after he disappeared while hiking with his parents on July 1, 2025.
Nguyen was last seen during a family visit to the popular турист destination, where he is believed to have ventured onto the Sea to Summit Trail, an area known for its steep terrain and challenging conditions.
