The Kuwaiti government has confirmed that its air defense systems intercepted multiple “hostile” missile and drone attacks, urging residents to remain calm as tensions continue to escalate across the Middle East.
According to Kuwait’s Ministry of Defence, the country’s military detected several ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles entering its airspace, triggering an immediate defensive response from the armed forces. Air defense units successfully intercepted most of the incoming threats before they could cause major damage.
Authorities stated that explosions heard across parts of the country were largely the result of air defense systems destroying hostile targets mid-air, rather than direct impacts on civilian areas.
