Russia terminated one agreement with Finland.

Russia has terminated its energy agreement with Finland on the Vuoksi River. This was announced in a government decree signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

Accept the proposal of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and  the Russian Ministry of Energy to terminate Articles 3 and 4 of the Agreement… on the energy use… of the Vuoksa River section,” the document states.

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been instructed to notify Helsinki that Moscow is no longer obligated to supply compensatory energy in connection with its unilateral refusal to purchase Russian electricity from 2022.

It was previously reported that Finland's border regions, deprived of Russian tourists, are suffering multi-million dollar losses. It was discovered that the South Karelia region, bordering St. Petersburg, is losing one million euros (93.6 million rubles) daily due to the absence of Russian tourists.
