Abuja / Jos — Reverend Ezekiel Dachomo, a prominent cleric and regional chairman of the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN), says his life is in danger following his outspoken criticism of what he calls a “Christian genocide” in Plateau State.
Dachomo claims he has received death threats after releasing a video documenting killings of Christians in Plateau, including what he described as mass graves. He told journalists he no longer sleeps easily, saying he’s “on the lookout for attacks” and that his grandmother was killed — her heart allegedly removed — while other family members have also been targeted.
He also accused parts of the military of hostility, saying that a military officer once threatened to “cut him into pieces” for speaking out. Meanwhile, a Fulani group has publicly denied any assassination plot against him, calling his claims exaggerated.
Dachomo has vowed to continue his documentation efforts, declaring he will take his dossier on Christian killings to international bodies, including the ICC.
