Ex-MP Dr. Adomako Kissi Backs Bryan Acheampong in NPP Flagbearer Race

Dr. Adomako Kissi, a former Member of Parliament, has openly declared his support for Bryan Acheampong in the race for the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer position. According to Dr. Kissi, Acheampong possesses the vision, strategy, and leadership experience needed to help the NPP close its estimated two-million vote deficit and regain power in the upcoming national elections.

Speaking in an interview, Dr. Kissi praised Acheampong for his deep understanding of Ghana’s political and economic landscape, as well as his track record in public service and private enterprise. He emphasized that Acheampong’s practical approach to governance and strong grassroots connections make him the right candidate to unite the party and energize its base ahead of the elections.

“We need a candidate who not only understands the numbers but also has the charisma and competence to drive the party’s agenda forward. Bryan Acheampong is that person,” Dr. Kissi said.

The former MP also highlighted Acheampong’s commitment to policies aimed at economic transformation, job creation, and youth empowerment, which he believes are key issues for voters across the country.

His endorsement adds to the growing support for Acheampong within different factions of the NPP, signaling a potentially competitive flagbearer contest. Political analysts note that such endorsements could significantly influence delegates and shape the dynamics of the party’s upcoming primaries.

With the NPP focused on reclaiming the presidency in the next general elections, the backing of influential figures like Dr. Kissi may bolster Acheampong’s campaign and position him as a leading contender in the race.
