The Nigerian Army has announced that its troops have killed four suspected terrorists and arrested several alleged collaborators during recent clearance operations in parts of northern Nigeria.

According to the military, the operation was carried out in ongoing counter-insurgency efforts aimed at dismantling terrorist networks and disrupting their logistics and support systems in the region. The Army said the troops also recovered weapons and other materials believed to have been used by the armed group.

Officials stated that the arrested suspects are currently undergoing interrogation to determine the extent of their involvement in aiding or financing terrorist activities. The Army added that the operation is part of broader efforts to restore stability in areas affected by insurgent attacks and coordinated criminal activities.

The military further reassured residents in affected communities that security operations will continue until terrorist elements are fully neutralized and normalcy is restored. It urged citizens to provide credible intelligence to assist ongoing operations.

The announcement comes amid continued security challenges in parts of northern Nigeria, where military operations against insurgent groups and armed networks have intensified in recent months.
