Former President Bill Clinton Spotted at NYC Marathon with Bandaged Nose While Cheering Daughter Chelsea

Former President Bill Clinton was seen at the finish line of the New York City Marathon on Sunday wearing a bandage on the tip of his nose while cheering on his daughter Chelsea Clinton, who competed in the race. The 79-year-old former President appeared in good spirits but sparked health-concern discussion owing to his well-documented medical history.

Images released by media outlets show Clinton embracing his daughter at the finish line alongside his wife, Hillary Clinton, with the bandage clearly visible. The reason for the nasal dressing was not disclosed.

Clinton’s medical record is extensive: he underwent a quadruple-bypass heart operation in 2004, surgery for a collapsed lung in 2005, and further heart procedure in 2010. Most recently, in 2025, he was seen exiting the Hamptons carrying what appeared to be a portable defibrillator bag — a sight that raised fresh questions about his health status.

Despite these concerns, Clinton maintained participation in the public event and appeared to show support for his daughter’s athletic achievements. Chelsea Clinton, aged 45, has previously completed marathons and has been pictured running the NYC event in recent years.

No official comment was available from Clinton’s office regarding the bandage on his nose or whether the appearance reflects any new health issue. Meanwhile, observers and media outlets continue to monitor the former President’s public engagements given his age and health history.
