Innovation Minister Mélanie Joly announced that Quebec’s aluminum sector is poised to receive “hundreds of millions of dollars” from a $5 billion federal tariff relief fund.
The funding aims to help the industry remain competitive on the global stage, particularly in light of high tariffs imposed by the United States.
